He was predeceased by: his parent Angelica Escamilla; his wife Christina Escamilla; his grandfather Pedro Escamilla; his great-grandparents, Ascension and Elena Tijerina; and his uncle Adam Escamilla.

He is survived by: his grandmother Virginia Escamilla; his parent Angelica Alcantar (Larry); and his siblings, Miguel Escamilla and Sydney Chavez.
