It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Ward Jr. of Amarillo, Texas, born in Memphis, Texas, who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ward and Celeste Ward; his sisters, Shirley Foster, Carolyn Shults and Willie Mae Maddox; and also Jan Ward.
He is survived by: his daughter Kara Hahn (David) of Van Alstyne; his sisters, Marie Davis of Vega and Henrietta Montgomery of Childress; his grandchildren, Chase Hahn of Amarillo and Ava Hahn of Van Alstyne; and his stepdaughter Lori Newsome of Amarillo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
