It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Vedbraaten of Alvord, Texas, who passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Henry and Francis Smole (Kerin); her husbands, David Gardner and Ed Vedbraaten; her son Chester Gardner; and her grandson Shane Gardner.
She is survived by: her children, David Thomas Gardner (Linda) of California, Daniel Gardner (Paula) of Alvord, Linda Eckstine (Mike) of Colorado and Janice Bauer of Minnesota; and her siblings, Michael Smole of Oregon and Marie Francine of California. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
