She was predeceased by: her parents, Thadis Yount and Annie Bell Yount (Newsome); her husband Allen Tengler; and her siblings, Mary Lou Odom and Thadis Yount, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Boyd of Alvin, Brandi Armstead of Houston and James Bales of Austin; and her brothers, David and Jack Yount. She is also survived by her children, four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and five step great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
