Though Ronald Dwayne may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ronald Dwayne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Aubrey Mercer and Clara Bell Robertson Mercer; his half-sister Joanne; his brother James Terry; his wife Gloria Kay Bowman; his daughter Vicki Lee Mercer; and his grandsons, James Cody Ober and Matthew Ryan Ober.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (302 S Johnson St, Alvin, TX 77511). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
