With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mateel Martin (Alvin, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 26, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Martin, Sr.; her parents, Allen Tovrea and Mateel Tovrea (Paul Martin, Sr.); and her brother Allen T. Tovrea. She is survived by: her children, Paul Martin, Jr. (Christine Martin), Doug Martin, Lori McWhirter and Carol Allen (Mark Allen); her daughter-in-law Jacky Kirst; her grandchildren, Brandy Kenney, Nick Martin, Amy McLawchlin, Jamie Nichols, Keith Martin, Daniel McWhirter, David McWhirter, Katie Brown, Mark Allen II, Dean McWhirter and Cassie Kettle; and her sister Merrium Battistoni. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and many special friends.
