She was predeceased by: her parents, Herzel Roscoe Farmer and Vivian Louise Farmer (Chuter); her son David James Stephenson; and her brothers, James Lawrence Farmer and Brumley Jr..

She is survived by: her daughter Darla Dewar (Stephenson); her grandchildren, Cody Dewar and Faith Dewar; her siblings, Roy Joe Farmer, Doris Ann Whited, Angelina Pack and Darlene Ringo (Marvin); her aunt Mary Ann Dewar; and her pet Blackie.
