She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria De La Cruz and Nieves Martinez (Joel Meza); and her siblings, Amelia Garza, John Perez, Felipe Perez, Nieves Martinez Jr., Herman Martinez, Calistro Martinez, David Martinez, Roman Martinez, Lourdes Martinez (Dure), Rafaela Martinez Jimenez and Margret Martinez Juarez.
She is survived by: her sons, Jesse P. Garza (Maria) and John Garza; and her brother Raymond Martinez (Janie). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oak Park Chapel (300 Oak Park Dr, Alvin, TX 77511). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St John the Baptist Catholic Church (110 E South St, Alvin, TX 77511).
