Karen McAlvain Wilson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen McAlvain Wilson of Alvin, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren McAlvain and Alyce McAlvain; and her brothers, Warren McAlvain Jr. and Rusty McAlvain. She is survived by: her husband James Wilson Jr.; her daughters, Merri Hahn (Richard) and Alyson Clayborn (Jason); her grandchildren, Cameron Clayborn and Kendall Clayborn; her sister Derinda Faye; and her sisters-in-law, Diane McAlvain and Debbie McAlvain. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home (1421 Hwy 6, Alvin, TX 77511). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Confederate Cemetery (998 Dickinson Rd, Alvin, TX 77511).
