It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Faye Nunnery of Alvin, Texas, born in Woodville, Mississippi, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loy King, and Ruby King, Sr.; her daughter Nancy Pendergrast; and her siblings, Dorothy Matthews, Annie Marler, Edith King, Loy King Jr., Billy King and Richard King.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel Lloyd Nunnery; her children, Lisa Callahan (Chris), Ginger Hanchey, Michael Nunnery (Sandra), Stephen Nunnery (Diane) and Tony Nunnery (Barbara); and her sister Minnie Marie Phillips. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; along with numerous extended family and friends.
