It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Chavez of Alvin, Texas, born in Ganado, Texas, who passed away on July 18, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Martinez and Guadalupe Martinez (Coronado); and her husband Mike Chavez. She is survived by: her son Jesse Chavez, Sr. (Maria); her grandchildren, Jesse Chavez, Jr. (Veronica) and Andy Chavez (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, Haley Chavez, Matthew Chavez, Joshua Chavez, Amy Chavez, Jordan Chavez and Addy Chavez.
