He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eloisa Ramona Ortiz; his daughter Grace Eloise Ortiz Cruzen; his parents, Joe Angel Ortiz (Jay) and Java Jaure (Jay); his siblings, Gael Ray Ortiz of Austin, Barbara Jean Chishko (Andrew) of Oklahoma City, OK and Barbara Jo Mc Coy of Oklahoma City; his daughters, Patricia Ortiz and Kathryn Ortiz of Alvin; his son-in-law John Cruzen; his grandchildren, Edwina Ortiz, Erica Montalvo, Joel Montalvo, Jonathan Cruzen and Aaron Cruzen; and his great grandchildren, Joshua Soto, Jocelyn Soto, Kaleb Soto, Antonyo Liguez, Scarlett Liguez, Arianna Montalvo, Addie Montalvo and Nathaniel Montalvo.
