James Mize Obituary
We bid farewell to James Mize of Alvin, Texas, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 10, 2024 at the age of 72. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Christene "Tena" Mize and C. J. Mize; his grandparents, P. T., Carrie Mize, Jeter and Annie Tarver; and his brother Ronald "Ronnie" Mize.
He is survived by: his daughter Ashlie Davenport; his sister Shirley Kay (Billy); his niece Nicole Wallace (Chris); his great-niece Hope Wallace; his uncles, Ray Tarver and Bootsie Tarver; and his aunt Marion Millet. He is also survived by many cousins, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home (705 S Spruce St, Vivian, LA 71082).
