Jack Robinson Obituary
ALVIN - Mr. Jack Robinson passed from this life Sunday evening, November 12, 2023, in Alvin.
Born December 6, 1933, in Three Rivers, TX, Mr. Robinson had been a resident of Alvin since 1991, previously of Bay City. Jack proudly served his country in the U.S. Army before earning his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Geology. Jack was a member of First Methodist Church in Alvin. He worked as a drilling fluid engineer, a real estate appraiser and an assistant librarian at the Rosenburg Library in Galveston after beginning work as a production foreman, working for Celanese Corp and Goodyear Chemicals for 18 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Felix and Lottie Mabel (Shumate) Robinson; brother, Felix Robinson; sisters, Dolphine Parks, LaVona Stainthorpe.
Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Judy Robinson; sons, Steve Robinson and wife, Sherry, Jim Robinson and wife, Jackie; daughter, Cheryl Peck and husband, Bruce, Carrie Ake and husband, Charles; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Michelle, Hannah, Kaitlin, Travis, Kristen, Aimee, Noah, Ryan, Chloe and Lilah; great grandchildren, Jack, Arthur, Felix, Addisyn, Isla and Everett; numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2023, at First Methodist Church, 611 West South Street, Alvin, TX 77511, with Reverend Wesley Duncan and Reverend Kenneth Carter officiating.
