It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esperanza S. Martinez of Alvin, Texas, born in East Bernard, Texas, who passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Esperanza is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Esperanza's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Miguel Silva and Maria Bravo Silva; her husband Willie; and her siblings, Manuel Silva and Dora Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian Salinas (Saul) and Fernando Martinez; and her brothers, Solomon Silva (Janie) and Frank Silva (Janie). She is also survived by four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren & one great-great grandson.
