She was predeceased by: her parents, Clement L. Hluchan and Emma Dee Hluchan; her former husband Luther A. Allison, Jr.; her husband Bernard Shannon Heffernan; her son Luther A. Allison III; her sisters, Elsie Collins, Mary Tuttle and Alice Keopke; her parents-in-law, Luther Allison and Myrtle Allison; and her son-in-law Johnny Skero.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Trahan (Richard), Patricia Dartez (Mike) and Donna Nichols (Mike); and her daughter-in-law Sally Allison. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
