He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Henry Schulz and Gisella Neirlich Schulz. He is survived by : his wife Dianne Manning Schulz; his son Christopher; and his siblings, Donna Konvicka and Glenn Schulz (Karen). He is also survived by six nephews, one niece and many friends.

The military honors was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dean Cemetery (148 Dean Church Rd, Marion, LA 71260).
