He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria Salazar and Monseis Salazar, Sr.; and his siblings, Adan Salazar, Monseis Salazar, Jr. and Rosa Camacho.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Koehler Salazar; his children, Jeff Salazar and Mindy Dittfurth (Jon); and his siblings, Gerald Salazar (Nora), Alma Martinez (John), Sylvia Salinas, Albert Salazar (Lucy), Armando Salazar (Linda), Blanca Ramos (Daniel), Linda Hogue (James) and Sandra Castaneda (Joel). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oak Park Memorial. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Beeville Memorial Park Cemetery (59 S East St, Beeville, TX 78102).
