He was predeceased by: his parents, James McFarland and Hazel McFarland; his siblings, Harley, Jim, Paul, Frank, Jerry, Mary and Sadie; and his wife Patricia "Pat" McFarland.
He is survived by: his son Chad McFarland; his sisters, Lennie McFarland and Jewell Redden; his brother-in-law Jerry Redden; and his close friend Sandra "Sam" Dennison. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Alvin Missionary Baptist Church (2102 W Lang St, Alvin, TX 77511). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
