He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Simmons and Margaret Simmons (Baker); his brothers, James Simmons (Jump) and Glen Simmons; and his stepson Ralph Flores.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Simmons of Alvin, TX; his brother Bob Simmons; his son Troy Simmons (Jaime) of Fort Gibson, OK; his granddaughters, Amie Anderson of Warner, OK, Becky Meckle of Porum, OK and Taylor Sparks of Fort Gibson, OK; and his stepson Waylon Bouma (Crystal) of Grapeland, TX.
