Andres Chapa Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Andres Chapa of Alvin, Texas, born in Luling, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Guadalupe Chapa; his parents, Teodoro Chapa and Teodora Chapa; his siblings, Rafaela Garza, Benancio Chapa, Jesus Chapa, Lorretto Chapa and Benito Chapa; and his grandsons, Tony Chapa and Andrew Chapa.
He is survived by: his children, Herminia Chapa, Jesusa Baird (Larry), Alice Owen (Steven), Santos Chapa (Evelyn) and Andres Chapa Jr. (Florence); his grandchildren, Adam Chapa, Steve Garcia, Jesusa Magana, Aaron Ruiz, Ciara Ruiz and Alissa Geoffrion; and his great grandchildren, Arielle Ruiz, Chloe Geoffrion, Isaiah Garcia, Ezekiel Garcia, Vanessa Magana, Monica Magana, Anna Magana and Isabella Magana.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home (1421 Hwy 6, Alvin, TX 77511). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Oak Park Cemetery (300 Oak Park Dr, Alvin, TX 77511).
