We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2022, at the age of 87, Willa Mae Porter of Alvarado, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Newton Cummings, Sr.; her brothers, Millard, Earl Benson, Wilton, Frank and Willard; her son Robbie Lee Porter; and her grandson Dustin Porter.

She is survived by: her children, Winford Sambo Porter (Sheila), Darlene Porter Miller (Devan) and Teresa Hitt; her siblings, Welthie Dial, Nina Ruth Cummings, Ella Fountain, Sarah Locklear (Rudy), Betty Maynor (Tommy), Mary Ann Locklear, Newton Cummings, Jr. (Mabel) and Carlton Cummings (Andrea); her grandchildren, Kristen Mahurin (Len), Brandon Hitt, Brian Hull (Lisa), Jake Porter, Joshua Handy and Lucas Porter; her great grandchildren, Seth Ballenger (Jodi), Cade Hubbard, Miles Mahurin, Katelyn and Hudson Hull; and her friend Ann Barnhart. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
