It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Visie Scarberry (Alvarado, Texas), born in Brazos Point, Texas, who passed away on May 13, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Mears and Lula Mears; and her siblings, Delta and Arthur. She is survived by: her husband Wando Scarberry; her sons, Doug Scarberry (Robin) of Alvarado and Steve Scarberry (Shanna) of Lometa; her granddaughter Sara Foster (Sean) of Alvarado; her great grandchildren, Addyson, Aubrey and Cooper; and her siblings, Kathryn, LaVada, Walter and Jesse. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
