It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Allen Whitney of Alvarado, Texas, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on June 25, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Allen Whitley, Jr. and Dorothy Parmer Whitley Poindexter. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sheffield Whitley; his sisters, Janez Rainbolt and Annette Francis (Ken); and his children, Angela Brantley (Jason), Brenda Klinge (Del) and Chris Whitley (Kari). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
