With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Allen Whitley of Alvarado, Texas, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on June 25, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Allen Whitley, Jr. and Dorothy Parmer Whitley Poindexter. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sheffield Whitley; his sisters, Janez Rainbolt and Annette Francis (Ken); and his children, Angela Brantley (Jason), Brenda Klinge (Del) and Chris Whitley (Kari). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
