He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, G. D. Moore and Helen Moore Clark; his children, Jennifer Lyn Stafford, Jeremy Dan Moore, Billie Jean Moore and Jason Dewayne Moore; and his siblings, Pam McCoy Hollingsworth, Nicole Domuret, Terry Glen Moore, Randall Paul Moore and Mark McCoy. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and many extended rodeo family members.
