With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Odell McCowen of Alvarado, Texas, born in Cleburne, Texas, who passed away on October 9, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Horace and Hazel Marie McCowen (Bayless); and his brothers, Horace McCowen, Jr., Patrick McCowen, Jerry McCowen and Kenneth "Pete" McCowen.
He is survived by: his wife Linda McCowen; his children, Lori McCowen, Billy Garner (Jamie) and Justin McCowen (Michelle); and his sister Linda Sue Ingram. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends, including his beloved dog.
