He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse O. Melvin and Iryne Mamula Melvin; and his brother Reed Melvin. He is survived by: his daughters, Heidi Melvin-DeLira (Bobby DeLira) and Amanda Melvin; his grandsons, Samuel Melvin and Joel Hernandez; his great grandchildren, Marley Huffman and Viper Melvin; and his brother Neal Melvin (Rebecca Melvin). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
