He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Richters and Lucille Richters (Arnett); and his siblings, Veta Spears, Ginger Davis, Madeline Raney and Dean Richters.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Everett Richters of Alvarado; his children, Alex (Lesley Richters), Markus Richters (Terry Raymer), Jeff (Heather Richters) and Amy (Stephen Evans); and his grandchildren, Logan Richters, Mason Richters, Clay Richters, Ty Richters, Landyn Wooten, Parker Richters, Markus Wooten, Canaan Richters, Callee Evans, Caycee Evans, Joshua Richters, Acee Richters and Finlee Richters.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or The Dewayne "Coach" Richters Memorial Fund in c/o Alvarado Independent School District.
