Earlene Cherry Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earlene Cherry of Alvarado, Texas, who passed away on August 27, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Leonard and Madlene Leonard (Lewis Cherry); her daughter-in-law Rose Cherry; her grandson Liam; and her siblings, Bennie Leonard (Glenn Leonard), Mary Rice and Linda Dennis.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Cherry, Doug Cherry, Laurie (John McIntosh), Carol (Daniel Ward), Steve (Edwina Cherry) and Tim (Ellen Cherry); her siblings, James (Donna), Robert (Cherith) and Anna Singleton; her sisters-in-law, Edna Leonard and Janice Leonard; and her husband Lewis Cherry of Mansfield Texas. She is also survived by Her family also includes 14 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home (200 E Patton Ave, Alvarado, TX 76009). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Renovation Church (5010 FM 663, Midlothian, TX 76065). A burial was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 at the Pleasant Point Cemetery.
