As Douglas departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Douglas leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his mother Visie Scarberry. He is survived by: his father Wando Scarberry of Alvarado; his brother Steve Scarberry (Shanna) of Lometa; his wife Robin Scarberry; his daughter Sara Scarberry of Alvarado; and his grandchildren, Addyson, Aubrey and Cooper.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Glenwood Cemetery (415 N Pkwy Dr, Alvarado, TX 76009).
