It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Dixon (Alvarado, Texas), born in Brazos Point, Texas, who passed away on January 9, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Simpson and Beatrice Mears (Powell); her spouse Harden Dixon; and her siblings, Clyde Mears, Martha Moon and Fannie Nelson.

She is survived by: her children, Dale Dixon (Tonya) and Tricia Parker (Brian); her grandchildren, Tausha Miller (Dustin, Brandi Hall), Ashley McNiel (Trey, Scott Beam) and Brooke Cobb (Lejay); and her brother Lewis Mears. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
