She is survived by: her parents, Luis Turner and Tomasita Turner; her husband Richard E. Lara; and her children, Juanita Robles, Yolanda Saldierna (Patricio), Rebecca Botello, Luis Suarez, Richard Lara Jr (Edna) and Ralph Lara (Jeanette). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
