It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albina G. Castillo of Alvarado, Texas, who passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Gonzales and Petra Gonzales (Valenzuela); her husband Jose Castillo; her son Gilbert Flores; her brothers, Frank Gonzales and Domingo Gonzales (Cresencia); and her children, Rudy Gonzales (Barbara), Ricky Castillo (Carol), Joe Castillo Jr. (Marquittia), Rosie Pena (Rudy Sr.), Margie Pena, Josie Castillo, Jimmy Uselton and Herminia Hernandez (Rafael).
She is survived by: her siblings, Sammy Gonzales, Jesse Gonzales, Mariana Ramirez (Nino) and Esperanza Gonzales. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
