He was predeceased by: his parents, W. H. "Jack" Collins and Dorothy Loise Bobo Collins. He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy Collins Turner (John) of Cedar Park, Marla Collins Grimes (Bill) of McDade and Jack W. Collins of Alto; his nieces and nephews, Kimberly Schlemmer (Lee), Kristy Bice, Leona Collins, Kate Grimes, Walter Grimes and Will Grimes (Ashley); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hannah Few (Caleb), Sam Schlemmer, Billy Grimes, Audrey Bice, Eli Collins, Avonlea Few, Elizabeth Few, Eva Few, Caroline Grimes and Charlotte Grimes; and also Jim Bice.
