He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jo Hackney Woodard; his father Johnnie Woodard; his sisters, Evelyn Marie Brown and Patsy Ruth Brown; and his grandchildren, Daniel Woodard and LaKara Taree Woodard.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Woodard (Heather) of Alto, Norina Woodard (Gerald) of Lufkin, Derrick Woodard (Kristi) of Lufkin and Melissa Griffin (Charles) of Alto; and his siblings, Peggy Miller of California and Jerry Brown of California. He is also survived by 16 grandkids and 18 great grandkids as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
