He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Horace "Pat" Montgomery and Grace Castillo Montgomery; his former wife Darlene; his siblings, Charles Montgomery and Charlotte Knott; his wife Charlotte Hollis Montgomery of Alto; and his children, Cheryl Lynn Montgomery of Nacogdoches, Anthony Montgomery of Wells and Ritchie Hester of Alto.
