It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelda Lawson (Alto, Texas), born in Nacogdoches, Texas, who passed away on July 26, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Armstrong and Della Presley Armstrong; and her siblings, R. L., Max, Zera, Frances, Agnes and Sybil.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda (Paul Gates) and Teresa Gardiner of Alto; and her grandchildren, Mickey Gates (Jessica), Susan Munsinger (Anthony), Sonya Alexander (David) and Willard Creel. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
