He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Evelyn and Herdis Bice. He is survived by: his parents, Barton Carter and Harriett Carter of Tulsa; his wife Sharon Carter of Alto; his children, Jennifer Forest (Michael) of Ponta, Samantha Sanders (Josh) of Weatherford, Jake Carter (Jlynne) of San Angelo and Brent Lawrence (Jessica) of Bryan; and his sisters, Gloria Haggerty of Diamond, Sandy Brown (R. L.) of Tulsa Ok and Kathy Lewis (Jerry) of Rusk. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
