With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Samuel Mines of Alto, Texas, born in Russellville, Alabama, who passed away on November 28, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel McBroom and William E. Mines; and his brothers, Mickey Mines of Bullard and Darrell Wayne Mines of La Grange. He is survived by: his wife Dedria Mines of Alto; his children, Elizabeth Tate Moran of Natchitoches, Jennifer McCullough of Bullard, Jessica Mines-Wood of Bullard, Jerrie Mines of Rusk, Shannon Abulnasr of Egypt, Rebecca Mines, Billy Richardson of Burleson, Jason Gaskill of Calvin and John Mines; and his sisters, Linda and Susan of Houston. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
