It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Leo Newell of Alto, Texas, born in Bloomfield, New Jersey, who passed away on January 28, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Eleanor Dorothy Newell (Meyer). He is survived by: his wife Toni A. Newell; his daughter Kristina Dickson; his siblings, Jerry Newell and Janice Nordquist; and his grandchildren, Mason Dickson, Brice Dickson and Devan Dickson. He is also survived by several nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
