He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Holcomb Black Sr. and Alva Verna Holcomb Black; his wife Cheryl Thomas Black; his grandson Tyler Harrison Holcomb Black; and his sisters, Dorothy McClure and Martha Ray Holcomb.
He is survived by: his sons, Stacy Black (Kori) of Rusk and Ty Black (Elsa) of Tyler; his sister Alva Joy Jones of Mineola; his sister-in-law Marsha Thomas Smith of Alto; and his grandchildren, Lindsey Black, Tessa Black, Iris Salazar, Emily Black and Rachel Black.
