He is survived by: his wife Jean Howle-Grindle of Alto; his children, George Ray Grindle Jr. (Heather) of Houston, Thomas Grindle of Houston and Sherry Oliver of Austin; his grandchildren, Deven Harlow and Aeyrn Grindle; and his great grandchild Ryder Bell Harlow.
