He is survived by: his mother Zeffie Pope Mumphrey of Alto; his siblings, Joyce Bailey (Robert), Lois McDaniel, Linda Skinner, Ellie Mumphrey, Ginger Skinner (Lewis), Melvin Mumphrey (Maggie) and Michael Ray Mumphrey (Pamela); and his close friend Brenda Woodard.
