He was predeceased by: his parents, Holland McLean and Verna Frances McLean (Long); his daughter Kelly Short Balser; his sister Linda Bockey; his son-in-law Gregory Waschezyn; and his brother Jon McLean.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Dumford McLean; his brothers, Verne and Samuel McLean; his children, Tamara Goode (Brent), Terri Waschezyn, Traci Hewitt (Mark), Tonya Copley (Ralph), Marci Short Cochran (Mick) and Joseph McLean (Kelly); and his son-in-law Mark Balser. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shoemaker Funeral Home (26 S Main St, Otterbein, IN 47970). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
