He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymon Royce Johnson and Ercelle Brunt Johnson; his siblings, Ernest, Ford Johnson, Wanda Marcus and Virginia Davis; and his granddaughters, Toni and Jodi Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Herland Johnson of Alto; his children, Freddy (Cindy Johnson), Tony Ray (Judy Johnson), Raymon "Binky" (Lisa Johnson) and Tessa; his son-in-law Kevin Pierce of Nacogdoches; his sister Wilma Hansen of Houston; and his grandchildren, Emily Gound, Courtney Landrum, Cole Johnson, Ben Johnson, Amy Guidry, Alicia Adkison, Luke Johnson, Shelby Pierce and Lauren Daniels. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Old Palestine Cemetery Association or the A. Frank Smith Methodist Church building fund.
