She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Moya; her granddaughters, Jolinna and Loraiya Moya; her parents, Arcelia "Elia" Marquez, and Nieves Marquez, Sr.; and her brother Nieves Marquez, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Anthony Marquez (Mari) and Javier Moya (Melinna); and her siblings, Angie Marquez, Joanna Alba and Johnny Marquez.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church (406 S 6th St, Alpine, TX 79830). A rosary was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
