He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ruben and Jesusita Portillo (Susie); his great-grandparents, Rafael, Francisca Navarrette, Salvador, Eliza Hernandez and Florentino "Tino" Portillo; and his uncle Danny Chavarria.
He is survived by: his mother Jessica Portillo-Chavez (Johnny); his siblings, Lilliana Portillo-Relethford (Flinn) and Jesse James Portillo Ward; and his aunts and uncles, Joann Molinar (Edmundo), Abigail Munoz (Louie), Ester Miranda (Joe), Miguel Portillo (Yvonne), Keith Baeza, Manuel and Rene Baeza. He is also survived by numerous cousins, great uncles and great aunts.
In remembrance of Trey as an avid animal lover, memorials in the form of donations may be made in Trey's name to Lucky Two Times Animal Sanctuary & Advocacy Programs in Fort Stockton, Texas or a humane society of your choice.
