It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Margarita Moreno (Alpine, Texas), who passed away on May 11, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberto Moreno and Beatriz Moreno; her husband Sotero Morin; her brothers, Armando and Alfredo "Pelon" Moreno; her son Euginio "Jimmy" Moreno; and her grandson Edward Valenzuela III.
She is survived by: her daughters, Norma Valenzuela of Roswell, NM, Beatriz Greising of Lexington, MD, Chris Aranda of El Paso, TX and Anna Moreno-Cobos (Jerry Cobos) of Alpine; her brother Martin "Tito" Moreno (Dalia) of Artesia, NM; her great grandchildren, Andrew Portillo of Midland, TX, Matthew Portillo of Midland, TX, Devan Valenzuela and Steven Sedillo; and her grandsons, Robert Sanchez of Roswell, NM, Jonathan Cobos of Alpine, TX., Johnny Valenzuela of Roswell, NM. and Duane Valenzuela of Roswell, NM.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren and 10 nieces and nephews.
