We bid farewell to Larry McCallister of Alpine, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 27, 2025 at the age of 70. Larry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Larry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Larry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas McCallister and Dorothy McCallister. He is survived by: his wife Mary McCallister; his daughters, Sydney McCallister and Lyndsey Estepp; and his brother Jim McCallister (Terry McCallister). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the American Legion (306 W Sul Ross Ave, Alpine, TX 79830).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Big Bend Livestock Show Association at PO Box 1342, Alpine, TX 79831 or the Big Bend Amateur Softball Association.
